Time is so fleeting

Jerry and I will be attending two major events on both sides of our families, high school graduations.

Jerry's daughter, Candice, and my niece, Nicole will both be graduating from high school soon. We are very excited and look forward to being there for both our girls for such a big event. As I think about both Candice and Nicole, I can't help but feel excitement for them as they begin their next adventure in life. But, I say, why the hurry? Can't you stay in high school for a little bit longer? How can I make sure May 2012 never ever ends?

My wishes for both my girls is for them to have unlimited success, and for their dreams to come true. Good luck Candice and Nicole!! We will be with you always, to show our love and support.

Pound Cake ? Yes Please!

Jerry has quite a sweet tooth. He says regularly "What do we sweet to have to eat? Don't you feel like having a small bite, you know, just something delectable to end the day with, with that perfect cuppa tea?" He's quite the Englishman with his tea and cookies and fond memories of trifle and devonshire cream.

This weekend, Jerry said, "Why don't you try to make pound cake? How can you beat that homemade taste?"   So, the loving wife that I am, I set out to make pound cake. Oh my gosh, so good! What's not to like when  you whip up a cake with four ingredients, a pound of butter, a pound of flour, a pound of sugar, and a pound of eggs?

Jerry has a childlike antcipation when it comes to homemade sweets. It was rather amusing to watch him walk by the oven several times, open it, take in the aroma, watch the timer, and anticipate the cake coming out and taking a bite. I was impressed by his patience, waiting it to cool.  So, the cake is for Jerry and I'll take a nibble or two, just to give him company... Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Do you wish you could be someone else? Be somewhere else? Have something else? Boy, I sure do! So just for fun, I created a list, a list of my real world, and my fantasy world. Have fun with it, and since its a fantasy, why not be outrageous I ask??

                                                                       This is me:

This is who I want to be:

Places I've been and where I want to go

I love love love to travel.  You have to start somewhere right, so why not at least one new place a year? So far, I've been successful in that goal.

Travel is a big adventure for me. I want to take in as much as I can, to experience as much as I can. I am not your casual vactioner, the take it easy kinda gal. Heck, I relax on the weekends and all other days in between.

Vacationing with me is no picnic, just ask the Mr.  Mr. Sebastian that is. I do test his limits, but he's a good sport and makes sure I see and do everything I want. So, here's a list of the places I've been, and the places I want to go (list is growing)

Been to:

Mumbai
Agra
Delhi
Udaipur
Jaipur
